Reclamation Art For Houston
Donation protected
I am a reclamation artist based in the Phoenix Metro. I am going to drive to Houston on September 12, 2017 to create artwork from flood debris. I will be working with a local church that is already involved in relief efforts.
This art will be auctioned online through Kuttlefish.com, an upcycle marketplace website, and the proceeds will be donated to the local work. This gofundme will help defray my expenses so 100% of the auction proceeds can be donated.
This will be my second flood debris reclamation project. In 2016, my son and I were able to travel to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to work with Acacia Church to raise funds to purchase drywall for single mothers and the elderly who did not have flood insurance. We were able to raise $4,000 to add to the work the church was doing.
