Aoife to Dublin!

Donation protected
I'm trying to get Aoife to my naturalization ceremony, but she has fibromyalgia and hemipelagic migraine and the 4 hour drive there, followed by several hours at the event, then 4 more hours drive home would be too much for her. And so Im asking for help to rent a room the night before and so break up the ordeal over 2 days, maybe 3 if we're lucky.

We don't need a lot, and would be eternally grateful if you can help, but we're not losing our place to live or our lives, so we understand fully if you'd rather help someone in true need.

Thank you for considering  my mission.

I'm am American and we moved to the United Kingdom some years ago when travel was easier. but the UK is moving increasingly away from the EU and its treaties, and separating immigrants from their families.

Aoife was born in Northern Ireland and so has dual British-Irish citizenship, thus the right through the EU to retain her family with her through being an EEC national. 5 years ago we started a process to, as her spouce, gain Irish citizenship (while retaining my American citizenship!) and on the 15th of June of this year my application was accepted.

On the 17th of July, at a ceremony in Dublin, I will swear an oath of fidelity to Ireland and be granted Irish citizenship, never again to face the fear of deportation from my family. Thank you Minister for Justice and Equality!
