Caring for Kim

Donation protected
Kim Morris was diagnosed with acute leukemia in February of 2013. Acute leukemia progresses quick and has required lots of treatment. Kim and her husband Matt, have lived in the hospitial the majority of the time during the last sixteen months. Quickly after she was diagnosed she started chemo and soon after was in remission, but it still wasn't over. In July of 2013 Kim was given a bone marrow transplant which is a big procedure to go through. Luckily her brother was the perfect match and he saved a lot of time and money but most of all saved her life. Kim's cell counts have never risen to the numbers they should of, which has caused her to become extremely weak and have little to no ammunity causing her not to be able to enjoy the little things in life we all take for granted every day due to life in the hospital. In April of 2014, Kim relapsed and the cancer returned. Luckily they were able to get her back into remission and continued chemo therapy. Kim has remained in the hospital and recently has caught pneumonia leaving her in the worst condition she has been in. The doctors have concluded that there is nothing more they can do to treat Kim. Recently we were given the news that Kim is in her final days of fighting. Her two children and their spouses have started this fund raiser to help their father pay her funeral cost and her medical bills. Anyone who knows the Morris family, knows how special these two are. Along with your prayers for peace and strength, any donation you could make will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your continuous prayers and support during Kim's fight with leukemia.
