Help Me Serve in Antigua,Guatemala!

Carpe Diem, right? A few days ago I made the most spontaneous decision of my life - I will spending my spring break volunteering in Antigua, Guatemala. I will be participating in a program working with a Childcare program a half hour oustide of the country's capital city. I will be volunteering in a local orphanage and daycare caring for the children there, running acitivites and teaching them English, hygiene and social skills.

"The Childcare project in Guatemala provides individual attention and assistance to children from poor homes and communities. Many children at the projects we work with are affected by poor home life, little to no schooling and alcohol or drug abuse among their families. "

I have always had such a passion for service, and I know that this experience will open my eyes to so many new and amazing things. 

The trip is fairly low-cost, but I can't do this without some help. As a full-time student paying out-of-state tuition, working a part-time job and still trying to eat and pay rent, I would love to get to Guatemala to give back for my break! The program fee to cover housing and travel insurance is $700 all together, and that is all I am asking to raise before my trip.

Any money raised over my goal will go straight towards the communities I will be working with in Antigua. Thank you so much in advance. You are helping so many people with your donation.
