Hi everybody, I am here to do something that is very important to me - save innocent animals, as many as I can. There are thousands of stray cats, dogs and donkeys in Morocco who live on the border of life itself. Most don’t live past their first birthday - they get run over on the busy streets by oblivious drivers while they search for scraps, unawarely poisoned by the forbidden meat that hangs around them, beaten for commiting the crime of existence and even shot by those they so desperatly want to call friend.
Witnessing this first-hand gave me an idea. What if I could “fix” these broken companions so that the people can see the delicate beauty they possess and learn to care for it, to nurture it and to love it as I do. The first step to take on this journey of selflessness is to save one - rid it from the pesky parasites which suck the life out of it, vaccinate it against the deadly diseases which erradicated it’s family, break the chain of suffering by sterilizing it and save it’s life by giving it a flourescent collar, a talisman to protect it from pupolation control.
The rest of my plan expands from step one, flowing down the river of the fate and into the sea of comprehension, justice, charity and righteousness. I am relying on the generosity and the compassion of those who, like me, care about animals as if they were family and want them to have a nicer existence.
