Andrew & Kevin Perrott - Hockey Showcase

Imagine working your entire life towards a dream only to have it taken away due to COVID. I am sure this has happened many times over the past year. Andrew and Kevin Perrott have been playing hockey since they could walk with hopes of playing professional hockey one day. Andrew and Kevin’s dreams were within reach but their 2020 season was cancelled. Both boys have not been able to play hockey on their respective teams since March of 2020.
Both Andrew and Kevin, along with many other hockey players are eligible for the upcoming NHL draft. All their hard work was supposed to pay off this season with the hopes of getting seen from scouts and teams. Many players would sulk, complain and get angry but not Andrew – he got to work. He has been working relentlessly with a few players to organize a hockey showcase to allow around 135 hockey players an opportunity to compete for two weeks in front of NHL scouts. This is an incredible opportunity for these players and just an example of the determination that makes Andrew a standout athlete and an extraordinary young man.
The showcase will be held in Erie, PA from May 31-June 13. Andrew has been contacted by NHL scouts and agents asking about players attending. There are over 100 players as of now committed to play and several are possible high draft picks for the 2021 NHL draft.
A showcase such as this is expensive to enter and Andrew and Kevin need help to raise the money to attend. Even though Andrew organized the event – he still will have to pay to enter the showcase. They need to pay for food and lodging and other expenses. If you know Andrew and Kevin, you know the amount of work these athletes have put into their sport. You also know the HUNDREDS of THOUSANDS of miles Kelly has put on her car driving back and forth to Detroit and Canada to practices and games.
