Service Dog for Cooper Slate

Cooper is 3, he has very hard times in public, and with everyday life. Cooper has several conditions; Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), Disruptive Behavior Disorder, partial duplication of chromosome 10p, asthma, atopic dermatitis, mild sleep apnea, chronic MRSA, speech language disorders, and mental delay of 1 year. Cooper has a hard time with crowds, people in his space, speaking to him, touching him can send him into a meltdown. I've done lots of research, talked to Coops Dr's and therapist. We all agree a service dog may help him feel secure, calm, and have a constant companion. This might make eating out an option for our family, successful (no meltdowns) dr apts, and trips. Cooper can't functionally make it through his elder brothers soccer games, or wrestling matches. I'm going to be getting him a highly trained dog from a local police officer, who trains police k9's as well. Just imagine to be 3, and not understand pain, have no knowledge of any danger (with repetative explanations from parents), and who just can't function. Cooper medical issues present as autism, at his age he hasn't yet been put in that category. He has to go to therapy in Lawton every week,has Occupational therapy, and speech. Cooper is looking at another surgery will be his 4th since birth, this one will be to help sleep apnea. Cooper never sleeps through the night. He even has meds to help with that, he takes 12 different meds a day. He gets sick every other week bc his immune system doesn't make antibodies proper. I truly believe this service dog would be a blessing to our family and a great help to him. I failed to mention earlier he has several food allergies/intolerances. This dog can detect things he doesn't need, keep him safe from wandering, calm him durning hard times. John, I (Angela), Landon, and Cooper Slate appreciate anything you can help with.
