The Audie Murphy Middle School dance team started with five girls with no experience back in four years ago. The biggest team we've had was last year with seven. This year, we have grown to an amazing fifteen girls.
We are based on a military base in Ft. Hood, Texas. We tend to be more isolated than other schools, which makes fundraising difficult.
Our goal is to attend Nationals in Denton, TX with ADTS and claim first place. However, with fifteen girls, this can be costly for a small campus. We are in need of transportation, hotel rooms, registration, and costumes.
These girls deserve a chance to showcase their talents and academic successes. It's a once in a lifetime experience.
