Thank you for checking out our campaign, "A Miracle for Michael". Our family is seeking donations to help in the cost of alternative medical treatments for Michael.
At at the age of 39, our husband, father, son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend was diagnosed with colon cancer. Colon cancer at such a young age is very rare. Research and treatment for this disease, in this age group is limited. Michael has endured three major surgeries, radiation, and four years of chemotherapy. He has handled all these courses of treatment with courage, faith, and the strength we all know only Michael can; all the while encouraging and uplifting others during their time of need.
The past four years have been a roller coaster. Michael has been through diagnosis, surgery, remission, recurrence, surgery, and recurrence. Michael has now been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. The prognosis is of course not what we had hoped... that chemotherapy and surgery are no longer an option. Unfortunately, hospice has been suggested as the only treatment plan. However, through prayer and family guidance, God has opened another door!
We believe that alternative/holistic medicine will result in a complete healing that will provide Michael with the quality of life God intended for him. Through his healing, Michael's miracle will be shared amongst thousands of people in hopes of inspiring other families facing a similar fight.
