Amen for Alexander
Donation protected
Alexander was born on February 19th, of 2015. My husband and I decided to allow (circ) surgery the day after he was born for various reasons. The surgery went well. Alexander was released that night, and came home with us. The first week was fine and well. He was recovering quickly. And though mommy was fretting over things like, "Am I doing this right?" or "I've never had a son before! Is this right?" things were looking good.
Then, three weeks after the surgery, we noticed something odd about the area. It turns out after various vists and reccomendations from Alex's pediatrition to see a specialist, he ended up forming Phimosis.
Though we tried to get a second opinion, we ended up getting refurred to Dartmouth. That's a two hour drive from our home. We found out that Alex needed help and this wouldn't go away on its own.
After countless trips to both Castleton, and Dartmouth, and a visit to the ER in Glens Falls, we tried a steriod cream. It didn't work. With only a miniscule difference within a month, our specialist set up surgery.
The surgery is this Friday. Because he's so little, they plan to keep him overnight. Meaning mommy is staying with him in the hospital for a full 24 hours, and Grandma and Daddy are keeping his big sister in the meanwhile.
If you'd like to donate, or even just keep us in your prayers, any little bit helps and is so very much appreciated.
Thank you all for your love and support.
