Hello :) I was accepted into the Disney College Program for Fall Advantage 2013 and I leave on May 19th, 2013 for a whole year of a magical experience. I have NEVER been to Disney World before, but it has always been a dream of mine. I cried in the middle of class when I got my acceptance email.
BUT, I 'm currently facing financial difficulties and without help I wont be able to go and I will miss out on this wonderful opportunity. I currently have 2 part-time jobs and I am in school full time. You would think I would have at least a little bit of money to spare.? WRONG. I have been working two jobs in order to help my mom take care of my sick grandmother. My mother is currently trying everything in her power to help me out and I feel bad because she is a older woman taking care of her family and working overtime to help me achieve my dream. I never thought anything of the situation until I got accepted. I spent my last $300 just to be accepted into the program and now I'm working on trying to save up for the next few weeks to get to Disney. I have yet to find a way down to Florida by bus, train, car or plane and most travel is expensive. On top of that it will be 2-3 weeks before I get my first check at Disney.
Normally, I'm not the type of person to ask for any type of donation but this means a great deal to me and its the one thing in life I don't want to get away from me just because I wasn't financially able to attend. Anything from $1 to whatever you think is a good amount will help.
IF you would like in return I can draw you a picture, I can make a collage, I can design something for you, or just a simple hand made thank you card just to thank you for your time. I can do this for you if you would like, please just ask.
