My deductible starts over in Jan do every cent I have will be going to medical bills. I know it's Christmas and everyone has so many ppl to buy for and places to go. Everyone's so busy. We're putting up the tree but no presents. We're just going to celebrate what we have and not try to eek out money for material things. I've now lost 130#, I'm well on my way to losing enough for back surgery. Every test I get done I'm told I will need surgery surgery. I don't know how I'll ever pay for it all. I want my life back before I'm too old to do anything. I wake up every morning unable to walk for an hour. I lost my primary so I can't get referrals I need or tests ordered. A little about Amanda: In 2007 & 2009 Amanda had two freak accidents that caused her to lose her quality of life and ability to work, drive, etc. She has suffered for years trying to find medical treatments that could help her be able to function in some capacity again. Right now most of her time is spent in bed, on a heating pad, sickened by pain medicine. Some of her medical conditions include: spinal stenosis, s1 syndrome, degenerative disc disease, scoliosis, several herniated discs, arterial arthritis, bursitis, chronic acute tendonitis, nonunion rib fractures, intercostal neuralgia, peripheral neuropathy, cardiomyopathy and several pinched nerves. Over the past few years almost every dollar has gone to medical bills. There are injections and implants she can receive to improve her quality of life. Since the new healthcare laws began her medical copays have soared. She can no longer afford the costly amount to reduce her agony. The injections are very painful but it is the only thing that has improved her quality of life. I know times are tough for everyone and this go fund me is a last resort for a woman who was raised to be self sufficient and not take handouts. Amanda has given her last dollar many times to ppl in need thru many different avenues. Even now she continues to try to help those less fortunate by networking for death row dogs, other deserving money raising campaigns, donating clothes, food and whatever else she can, whenever she can. With all the help she's put out into the world, thru both human an animal advocating, she deserves a little help now in her hour of need. Please help however you can! Thank you and God bless!
