Hi my name is Tia ,I first would like to thank you for taking time to read my story. I am 19 years old i live with my mother in brick NJ. My mother is 51 and very sick. She has severe C.O.P.D and bi polar depression. .she also has had a immediate heart surgery following that had a stroke. The doctor said she was minutes away from dying. She in on bed rest most of the day. I have been a working girl since i was 13 but once my mother got so sick and has been on constant bed rest I've had to stop working and care for her. My mother only gets so much a month that we are now behind on all of our bills. We hardly ever can even afford food because they took my moms foodstamps because I was working and they considered that extra income. our land lord has filed for eviction and we have no home to go. My father is already in and out of shelters and he is such a good guy he just has addiction problems. Not only have I stopped working but my only car I had broke down and I had to junk it. I am raising money to help me and my mom have a place to live and i would like to put my dad in a rehab so he can get healthy,buy a car (just something to get me from a to b ) and to go to school. I'm interested in phlebotomy. I love my mother so much and I just want to take all this weight off her shoulders, I want to get our apartment paid so we can have a place to live before the sheriffs lock us oUT I want to be able to finally go food shopping and not have to go to churches and I would like to get a car so I can start working and go to school. Im a very caring and compassionate girl I usually would not post on here because I always was so independent since I was 13 but we are in very much needed of help. I am grateful for people even reading my story. .
For any young girl who can relate to my story never give up because your present does not defy your future.
