My unique chance!

Donation protected
My name is Alisa Valerieva Uzunova and i need your help and support.

My biggest dream is to be able to study at the The Vaganova Ballet Academy in St.Petersburg, Russia.

This year in April I had the chance to go to St.Petersburg and audition for the Academy.
On that day, inside the walls of the Vaganova Academy, I felt that this is where I belong!

Everything went perfect and I got accepted.

The Academy normally permits international students as of 16 only. So it was such an honor being exceptionally accepted at the age of 14! My Biggest Dream came sooner true! It was by far the happiest day of my life.

There is only one big problem which is the financial part.
That's why I'm in need of your help!
A year as an international at the Academy costs exactly  €13400.
My family always supported me with everything they could but now it's really too difficult for them. This is why I'm writing here and looking for your much needed help!

This is such a huge oppertunity that only few international ballet dancers get. I have now this great chance to study there while being 2 years younger. It is such a unique chance they are giving me that i just can't not go!!
Please, my family and I are doing everything possible to make it possible but I really need your help.

It all started in Bulgaria when I was 5 years old and went to my first ever ballet class. From that moment on I knew that I wanted to become a Prima Ballerina. My first teacher saw something special in me and told me to keep on going. At the age of 7 my mom and I moved to Brussels where I was lucky to find other great teachers.

When I became 12 my passion took me to Antwerp where I continued schooling my dreams at the Royal Ballet School of Antwerp under artistique director 'Michael Shannon'. After 2 years living in a boarding school in Antwerp I decided I wanted more hours of training. So I moved back to Brussels and I started an intensive professional program at the Brussels International Ballet School. There we had every day practice from 9am till 17pm. Because of the many hours in the studio I didn't have time to go to academic school so I combined ballet classes with homeschooling. The extra dancing allowed me to get better and be ready for the Vaganova Academy.

I know that the Academy is the perfect place for me to become the best i can be. That's why I really want to study there.
Ballet is my everything, my love, my passion, my life! I don't live to dance I dance to live and I know that I have something special to give to this world.
