Hi, I'm Captain Tim Stringham and I'm Captain Aaron Marquez.
In 2012 we deployed to Afghanistan where we met Alim. Alim had already been working for several years as a translator for coalition forces and over the next year, he became a member of our Civil Affairs Team and a very close friend.
Alim was born in Afghanistan, but it has been his dream for years to come to America and live the American Dream. Thankfully, this year, Alim is finally coming home to a place he has never been and we hope you'll join us by donating to this fund so that Alim has a head start towards his new life in Arizona.
As Soldiers, we have felt the love and support of so many of our friends, family and neighbors here in the States and we hope you will consider offering that same grace to a man who stood beside us down range, who accompanied American Soldiers on countless missions and risked his life to help keep us safe.
