Airport High School Tech Club Trip

Airport High School and Fulmer Middle School (located in West Columbia, SC)  belong to the Technology Student Association (TSA).  TSA is a national organization that encourages students' work in Science,  Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) The students work after school on projects ranging from building robots to airplanes to computer apps.   Under the tireless and  expert guidance of their advisors (Terri  Southern, Vicki Stilwell, Tammy Campbell and Janet Goins),  18 of the students in our TSA chapter qualified for the National Championship this year!   Our chapter receives no support from the school district - it has been set up and funded by the students, parents and advisors.   The Nationals will be held in Dallas, TX this year and it will cost approximately $1,300 per person to attend (airfare, hotel, registration, meals).  Parents are encouraged to go as chaperones and their cost is the same.   While we are holding fundraisers, we are concerned that we will not raise enough money to help defray the costs for all of the students who qualified to go.   So, we are reaching out to anyone who might want to help these smart and motivated kids get to the national competition to show their stuff.   Thank you in advance for any amount you can give!
