Fundraiser for Jessica

Hi Everyone,
Many of you already know that my lovely girlfriend was the victim of a severe crime a little over a month ago. I was in Thailand for only a day and half when I found out that she was in the hospital, after being viciously attacked. At this point, I dropped everything and went straight to the airport to be by her side. It took me over 40 hours to get home, hearing only bits and pieces of information, which was extremely difficult. Once I got home Jessica was barely recognizable and could hardly move from the physical damage. This past month has been very challenging for both of us, as well as her 6 year-old daughter, Hannah, who unfortunately had to see her mother in so much pain.
As a result, Jessica is unable to work for several months as she undergoes physiotherapy and receives treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. On top of these medical expenses, she also has the day-to-day living expenses that a single parent has, and without being able to work she will not be able to cover these. The B.C Hospitality Foundation (BCHF) has kindly offered to match up to $5,500 raised.
Therefore, we are putting on a “Fundraiser for Jessica”, at SIMONHOLT Food and Drink on July 15th. I would personally be incredibly grateful to everyone that could come out and support Jessica.
