My friend Kim has always had large breasts!
She recently lost 4 stone to give her a better life with her children but also to try and reduce the size of them. If anything this has made things worse! Here is her story...
After loosing 4 stone and her breast size not reducing she decided to go to her GP to find out whether the NHS would fund her breast reduction. They asked that she have tests done to find out what they were made of and also X-rays to find out whether they were having an adverse affect on her spine. After having the required tests and X-rays she was given the results. She was told that her breasts were all glands (meaning that regardless of the weight she lost they would not reduce) and sadly that she has arthritis of the spine. Even with this information she was turned down twice by the NHS after giving them every piece of information needed... Their response was that there is nothing in her story that makes her an exception!
Now Kim is normally an outgoing bubbly person but this news was such a blow!
Immediately I could notice a difference in her! She was withdrawn and not the happy go lucky person I knew and everyone loved!
I know this is a lot of money that I am asking for you to donate but even if you can only afford £1 I know that once the target is hit she will be grateful for every single penny!
