Dying with Dignity Documentary
One word I would use to describe Peter Short would be "Inspirational". Diagnosed with oesophageal cancer 5 years ago, it was thought that he had made a full recovery, until the best had taken a turn for the worst where the cancer had returned.
Peter is now in his ninth month of his 3-9 month diagnosis to live. Although he may not be 100% it definitely does not show on the outside as his campaign to change the law of having the control of one's own life is moving. Peter is working towards developing a documentary that will make awareness and cause the law of allowing the terminally ill to have the choice to die with dignity to change.
Peter is the father of a very close friend of mine, who has always been there for me. His composure and will to stay strong and show happiness in such dark times is motivating to all of us and show's what amazing character he has.
I want to help and considering I'm just a poor student, I thought that I could help by at least raising awareness so that you, your friends, parents or extended family, may be able to help as well, either by creating more awareness or donating whatever you can to help this cause.
I'm choosing to do this by taking a little twist of the normal "Octsober" and raising the awareness and hopefully grow the donations towards the Dying with Dignity documentary.
If you would like to directly donate to the Dying with Dignity Documentary you can do so here:

and if you would also like to learn more about Peter, you can follow his blog at:

Otherwise at the end of October all money I have raised will go directly to Peter and the documentary.
