ADISYN BERTRAM MEMORIAL

Adisyn Fay Bertram was born September 14^th, 1999 in Provo, Utah. It was apparent at birth that Adisyn had special needs, and later diagnosed with a rarecondition called Rhomboencephalosynapsis, a malformation of the brain. Adisynwas given a life expectancy of two years, however Adibeat all odds and lived a full,vibrant 13 years. In that time she was able to open the eyes and hearts of many, prior to passing peacefully on May 5^th surrounded by family and close friends.

Amy moved to Salmon, Idaho in 2001and established a home for her children. Adisyn started to attend the Child Development Center where she made great strides and clearly demonstrated her fighting spirit. Adi learned to communicate her wants and needs whilescooting around to access herneeds. Adisyn enjoyed mischief and was often found dumping out Amy's flowers while spreading the dirt in the carpet and in her eyes.

In 2006, Amy and Daniel Bertram married. Daniel adopted Bridger and Adisyn andcompleted the family when Hudson was born in 2007.Adisyn's older brother, Bridger, always filled the role of the silent, strong protector andput Adi's needs ahead of his own, while never accepting recognition for his help. On the other hand, Hudson and Adisyn engaged in typical sibling warfare as they competed for attention.

From a very early age, Adisyn loved to dance. Dance became a way for her to communicate, and Amy was able incorporate Adi into many of the dance recitals. Two years ago, Amy and a group of talented community members choreographed Adisyn's Dance that inspired our community. No matter how bad she felt, Adisyn always enjoyed dance recital weekend.

Anyone who was close to Adisyn knows that she had an incredible personality. She had a great sense of humor and was not afraid to issue directives to her loved ones and support people.Adisyn always had a sparkle in her eye and relished in watching other children rough house. She was not afraid to insert herself into the middle of the chaos. She enjoyed music, dance, Elmo, Blue's Clues, chocolate, bouncing on the trampoline, swimming, riding in the bike trailer, interacting with friends and family, and PE.



Adisyn is survived by her mother, Amy Bertram, her father, Daniel Bertram, her siblings, Bridger and Hudson Bertram, her grandparents, Dan & Janice Copeland and Nick & Helen Bertram, and countless family and friends.

In honor of Adisyn's spirit, family and close friends will be establishing the ADI Foundation that will provide support to families in our community that have special needs.

Adisyn Bertram's Celebration of Spirit will be Saturday, May 11th at 2:00 pm. at Nick and Helen Bertrams' home at 26 Weeks Lane. Everyone is welcome. Please bring a finger food suitable for a celebration of Adi's Spirit. In honor of Adisyn's bright spirit and her never ending guiding light, please wear bright, cheerful clothing.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House in Boise, Idaho or the Adisyn Memorial Fund.
