Mission Statement:

We recently suffered some unfortunate luck with our two main ambulances in our fleet.
Our 3Z21 Ford ambulance is our main Illinois transport and towing ambulance. The ambulance developed a significant oil leak. Because of the type of truck and the 7.3 liter engine. The entire engine has to be pulled out of the vehicle in order to replace the oil pan. This is a very difficult repair on an Ambulance because of the giant Modular Box on it. Not all automotive shops are capable of making the repairs. We have located an automotive shop that is capable of performing the repairs. The repairs to the ambulance are being made at this time.
Our 3Z20 Dodge ambulance had it’s torque converter fail. As a result of the failure metal flakes filled the entire transmission. The transmission was removed and flushed of the metal flakes. As a result if the failure the transmission pump and cooler were replaced. The transmission pump and cooler had been replaced earlier this year.
Our 3Z22 Ford ambulance the front sway bar and siren assembly broke off. This breakage was a result of the wear and tear of driving off road at some of the venues we service. Ambulances are not designed for off dirt travels.
The Rhino UTV has required maintenance and overhaul including the replacement of the fuel lines and fuel pump.
Along with the usual maintenance, oil changes, new tires, generator maintenance, and the recent repairs. To date we have had approximately $8,000.00 in maintenance expenses. This amount has surpassed the yearly budgeted amount. We still have some other work that needs to be completed. Financially at this time we are unable to perform the work.
The last few weekends we have had employees working the events for free. Those employees have donated the pay they would have received back to the company to help pay for some these extra costs.
All of the employees of Action Sports EMS are very dedicated to this company. However we are asking for your financial assistance. With this assistance we thrive to continue to provide free on site care and help to keep the costs down for our promoters.
