Acres of Smiles

Mission Statement

Locally, Acres of Smiles provides programs that enable individuals in underprivileged communities to obtain needed dental treatment. Globally we work to open dental clinics and facilitate education toward dentistry in parts of the world where dental services are not currently available. We offer some complimentary dental services, but believe that education and empowerment are the best long-term solutions for the oral healthcare crises.

Acres of Smiles Programs

Dental Dollars:

Acres of Smiles is dedicated to providing quality dental care. We understand that the necessary costs of dental care may be prohibitive for some patients. Our Dental Dollars program is designed to provide an alternate way to assist patients with the financial obligations associated with their oral health. Acres of Smiles has teamed up with several volunteer organizations to make this financing option available.

Meals on Wheels, Fuzzy Friends Rescue, Compassion Ministries, Happy Endings Dog Rescue, Waco Mission, Habitat Restore, Humane Society of Waco, YMCA

 

Dental Education Initiative:

Acres of Smiles implements educational programs and creates networks that will lead communities toward oral healthcare independence. Not only will oral healthcare improve their quality of life, but our efforts will strengthen that community’s private sector, social infrastructures and the economy as a whole.
