Drinkers for Berto

So everyone knows I'm competitive...and while drinking is not a competitive sport and even if it were I would lose in tragic fashion, I have a need in me to do the open to close shift at one of my favorite SF bars, Aces. That's right 6am-2am... Come by anytime on Sunday September 28th, you can't miss me. This has been on my bucket list for years and now that I am an old married lady my supportive husband has agreed to support me and do it with me. 
In telling friends about this venture Mr. Kenny Meade suggests we do it for a good cause and use this challenge as a way to raise money. This was all in theory until this weeks tragic news.
Our friend Roberto Chicas, fellow SF bartender and all around incredible human being was assaulted leaving work on Monday night. If you don't know Berto he is a well loved and respected part of our community. He currently works at Public House and Cavalier and has been a fixture at 25 Lusk, Matrix and Nectar. We are looking to raise money to help support his medical bills and living expenses until he can get his pretty face back behind the bar.
We are simply asking you to come hang out, support us by making us drink water and sponser our challenge by giving money to a great bartender and wonderful person in need. We look forward to seeing you there!
