(A)mazing Fundraise Drive of 2016!

We are Ace Los Angeles!

Asexuality is often an overlooked and misunderstood orientation on the sexual spectrum. Asexual people may also identify as gray, demi, queer, and trans. Many are heteroromantic, homoromantic, bi-romantic, or aromantic.

Our goal is to educate and spread visibility not only within the LGBTQIA, but also the wider Los Angeles communities, at large.

However, there are just a few expenses over the next year that we need help with:

*Long Beach Pride Parade 2016*



On May Sunday 22, we will be marching with an Ace LA banner at the Long Beach Pride Parade. This will be our first time participating in a parade, and we are all very excited to connect with the larger LGBTQIA and ally community. Marching in a pride parade is an important step in building awareness for 2016.

Our deadline to submit our entry into the parade is May 2, so we have a little over a month to raise our funds. A successful parade presence will also motivate us to plan more events, and demonstrate the need for more outreach.

Expenses include:

$65 - Parade application (May 2 deadline)
$50 - Banner
$30 - Decorations

And if we make our initial goal of $300, any extra money will go towards:
* Panels and Workshops (room fees, snacks)
* Travel Expenses to Conferences (e.g. gas to northern California)
