Davis HS Band Program Sound System

The A.C. Davis Band is from Yakima, WA. Classes that our program offers are: Jazz Band, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Marching Band, and Pep Band. All of these ensembles perform for our community frequently throughout the year.
As our program grows, it as become very obvious that we are in desperate need of electronic amplification equipment. Having this equipment would help ensure that the success of our students is based on the quality of their performance, not the quality of equipment that they are using.
Currently the band does not own any equipment for electronic amplification; we borrow from a local middle school and our choir. This technology has become integral to producing successful and competitive marching band performances. Sound systems allow for students playing mallet instruments, solos, and electronic instruments to be heard and utilize correct playing techniques.
The Sound System would include:
A Soundboard,
Speakers,
Microphones,
Wireless Microphones,
Power Amplifiers,
And Much More!
The cost of purchasing this equipment is far outside of our current budget and we need help! This equipment would serve marching, jazz, and other students at performances and would last us many years!
We would appreciate any level of support in order to ensure success for our students.
