AAC Hand up Assistance Program

The mission of Active Assist Care is to actively engage and motivate our students by providing relevant classroom and hands-on learning experiences that will empower them to become active participants in their own learning to prepare each to deliver compassionate, competent, and professional care while stepping up to the challenge of embracing career advancement opportunities in a variety of health care settings.


Many of our students come to us quite desperate to change their lives. A lot of them only have a basic education and have not pursued any higher learning. Becoming a CNA will help many of them to have more employment choices. This money will be set aside to provide needy students with partial scholarships to help fund their training.


Applicants must complete an application and participate in either a face-to-face or telephone interview with former students of Active Assist Care who will then make the final decision to grant or deny a scholarship.
