Amber's Fight

Amber worked in PR most of her adult life. She decided to leave the day job several years ago and try to help other authors, mostly for free, get their names out there and promote. She also created Social Bee - a new network for authors without all the crazy rules - but she's since lost hope and not continued on with it.
She was diagnosed with ovarian cancer several months ago. She's told no one and I even found out a couple weeks ago completely by accident. She feels she can't fight it because of the financial expense of the first year of treatement (she does not qualify for state aid).
Amber has given up on both her book series' - one of which I showed a snip of on my blog and it remains the post with the highest number of views (you can check it out here, if you wish http://abbyekovacevic.blogspot.com/2015/06/teasertuesday-5-cowboys-of-slumber-creek.html ). I'm asking others to donate for several reasons:
1) Amber truly is a great person. There's nothing fake about her and she'd give anyone the shirt from her back. She's donated her time and funds to veterans, battered women's shelters, schools and so much more.
2) I'd love to see her dream of writing her own novels come true. She's helped everyone else for so long - I'd love to see her wishes of being in print come true.
3) Amber raises a grandbaby. She has no children of her own, but has custody of her ex-husband's daughter's child. This baby deserves to be loved and cared for by someone as wonderful as Amber.
4) I want to encourage her to fight - NEVER GIVE UP - yes, it's expensive, but people do beat ovarian cancer and I KNOW she can be one of them.
So, please, if it's in your heart to donate - I'd be appreciative and I know she would be as well. I want my friend to keep moving forward and to live life to the fullest.
All shares are also very much appreciated. I'll update as often as I can. And I'll also be donating 50% of my book revenue to her fight directly (so let's hope people buy my book).
