Help Ayesha walk on her feet!
Would You Help Save My Sister Ayesha!
"Help her live a normal life"
On August 11, 2011, my 20 year old sister fell off the 2nd floor balcony. She landed on her back, with her spine shattered, eyes flooding with tears, as she lay frozen in pain. At once, we presumed she had succumbed to the terrible fall, memories of which haunt us everyday, every moment and at every time we look at her helplessly lying on the bed.
Five (5) years since then, she underwent two nearly 7-hour long complicated surgeries to fix her spine, but the damage is beyond quick repair. In the first surgery fixation of D11 & L2 wih screws was done and in the second surgery, titanium cage was fused to remove the compression and avoid futher damage to the nerves . Although she is recovering, all our financial resources are depleted even as she needs to continue expensive physiotherapy sessions daily to be able to stand back on her feet and walk again.
Ayesha underwent advanced treatment at Indian Spinal Injuries Center (ISIC), New Delhi for 6 weeks from last week of November (2015) until first week of January (2016) which improved her balance and boosted the confidence. She is presently undergoing physiotherapy at home and gymming & hydrotherapy at Apollo Center in Hyderabad.
"She needs continous advance physiotherpy treatment to get her mobility back."
Help us spend Ayesha for her treatment by contributing generously and help her continue to recover.
