We have been Santa & Mrs. Claus for over 25 years, keeping kids believing in the magic of Christmas and Santa as long as we can. Eight years ago we teamed up with a Local National Association of Letter Carriers to buy gifts and deliver them to a classroom of under privilege kids. Each kid got a large gift (valued $15-$20) and a stocking with toothpaste, toothbrush, hair brush or comb, a pair of gloves, some pencils, crayons, a stuffed animal and some candy. They also all got their picture with Santa, to take home.
These are all Great kids that deserve to be happy, especially at Christmas time, these kids are grateful for the littlest things, including just knowing someone is thinking of them. When a child comes to you very excited smile ear to ear and tells you thank you for a toothbrush, a pair of gloves, or ask Santa “why did you come see us, we’re nobody” all these things have happened to us and that is why we have continued every year since to keep this gift of giving alive. We have done different fundraising projects to make each year bigger and better including doing toy drives around town with local business’, family and friends.
100% of the fundraising money goes to purchase gifts and the stocking items.
Every year we want to be able to do more than just one classroom, our overall goal is to be able to do the whole school (1200 children), this is why we have set such a high goal. If you would like to help make Christmas special for a needy child now is your chance, we appreciate any help we can get. With the help of your donation, no matter how big or small we can continue to make Christmas special for a child that might not have had a Christmas at all.
