A Foot For Fig
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
My name is Jess Brooke and I am the owner of Juniper and Fig the fox. A month ago I adopted Fig. Fig the fox was born on a fur farm and saved by our friend Mikayla at Save A Fox rescue. Fur farm foxes live in wire crates the majority of thier lives. When fig was only a week or two old he was cut by one of the cages and contracted a bacterial infection that caused him to loose his right foot, a few of his back toes and one of his eyes.
Because so many have reached out wanting to help we're now accepting donations for Figs new prosthetic foot!
Fig tires very rapdily due to needing to hop for every step. His missing foot also causes him to place a lot of strain on his femur bone while walking which could cause long term damage in the future.
We're looking forward to giving him some pep in his step with his new orthodic. Which will be an attacment that will mimic his missing foot. We hope to be able to have him fitted for this prosthetic by the end of August by Doctor Campana at Animal Ortho Group. To learn more about Fig or our organization you can visit Juniperfoxx.com
Thank you so much to everyone for your continued support. You're making a huge difference for a little fox!
