We’ve been challenged…
Our Board of Directors has been challenged to raise $25,000 by June 30th, in order to receive $25,000 in matching funds from an anonymous donor.
We, the myHealth Youth Advisory Board (YAB), have challenged ourselves to raise $1,600 towards the $25,000 goal.
About myHealth: At myHealth for Teens & Young Adults, our focus is on health care and education for young people and the families, educators and community organizations that surround them. At our convenient clinics and through extensive outreach programs, we provide affordable care and age-appropriate education to address a wide array of health needs and concerns. Why? Because we believe staying well means staying well informed.
Who/what is a YAB? We are a group of teenagers from the metro area that plan fundraisers for myHealth, plan and host events for teens that are in safe alcohol free venues. We also connect with our peers, listen to their needs and advise the myHealth team on how to better reach and meet their current needs. Finally, we understand how hard it is for someone our age to take that first step in the door to a clinic, we help the myHealth staff keep the clinic waiting room inviting and teen friendly.
This year our goal is a big one! We really want to say thank you to myHealth for giving us this opportunity to be leaders in our community. Help us help myHealth meet that $25,000 Challenge by raising $1,600.
