Heros of Uganda Mission

This fall, October 23 - November 1, we have the amazing opportunity to travel to Uganda with a group of people from my church on a mission trip. We will be staying in the city of Kampala.  Due to this being the capitol city, Kampala has become a meting pot of many races and cultures.  There is an increasing breakdown of social stability, family life, and government corruption, poverty in villages, crime domestic violence, and gang/drug involvement.  There is such a need for stability that can be found only in Christ. Freedom church is a Christ-centered organization that we will serve with in Uganda. They have seen a great number of people’s lives change as they come to know Jesus! I have been on several other mission trips and know the blessing and responsibility of being a part of God’s work.  I am excited about working alongside of Freedom Church and the possibility of bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to this area of the world. 

We will do ministry in a variety of ways. The team will proclaim the message of life and hope through a drama and street evangelism. We will also be involved in work projects within the community where we can show by our actions how much God loves them.  As we work alongside local churches and pastors, specifically Freedom Church, we will reach the nation for Christ.

​But I can’t do this alone… I need your support to help me go to Uganda and spread the love of Christ.  But before you commit to my cause of going to Uganda, please prayerfully consider what your role can be in supporting Newspring’s ministry in Uganda.  Our two biggest needs are for your prayer support and your financial support.  Each missionary is responsible for raising his or her own funds. Please know that your gift would be an investment in someone’s eternity.
