Wendall Barnes Recovery Help
On April 8th, 2015, Wendall Barnes was in a horrible accident in Leflore County, Ok where he was delivering a load of logs. He swerved off the road and into a tree to keep from running into vehicles and a road worker that were in front of him stopped on the road.
He was crushed and trapped in the Semi he was driving.
He was airlifted to St John's in Tulsa, Oklahoma where he was treated for several broken ribs, a shattered pelvis and hip, other various injuries to his leg, and internal bleeding. He has hemophilia, a bleeding disorder where the blood does not clot normally.
He underwent surgery to repair his pelvis and hip and has been given factor 8 so that he will not keep bleeding. He has been in a rehab center and is struggling to walk and do a normal daily routine. He will be unable to work for at least 12 weeks, maybe longer. He has a strong will to get better, but during this time his wife will be taking care of him and they have no other income.
Please, if you can help them out anything will help and be greatly appreciated.
