Hello & Welcome!

We cannot express enough gratitude for taking the time to visit our site for Jason. Please help us help Jason climb his biggest mountain yet, his fight against Peripheral Lymphoma (Stage 4).

-Brief Bio-

Jason is a Texas native who knew exactly how to get the most out of life. He grew up in East Dallas and attended St. John's Episcopal School and attended Bishop Lynch High school. He's always been one for sports, particularly baseball. Jason enjoyed playing baseball as a kid and for 4 years at Bishop Lynch. The All-American kid, you could count on him rooting for his favorite teams, the Dallas Mavericks and the Texas Rangers. Some of his favorites in life include music by Imagine Dragons, AWOL Nation, Pretty Lights, TV On The Radio and most recently Cherub. Jason is a huge fan of the band, Cherub!

He met many of his friends who help put this site together from his job in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. Working as a ski instructor and wellness center employee, Jason was in charge of teaching our U.S. military and their children how to ski at the Armed Forces Recreational Center, the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort which is nestled in the Bavarian Alps. He loved being outdoors, perfecting his skiing, hiking the nearest mountains, and drinking Bavaria's best beers with his close friends while taking in the view of the outdoors. A huge soccer fan, Jason was always rooting for his favorite German team, FC Bayern. After a long work week, we could always count on seeing his smiling face and friendly disposition speaking German in the local pub.

"Optimistic, joyful, caring, strong willed, happy-go-lucky. He's always been the one to cheer people up when they're down or keep you up when you're already there. There's an unintentional kindness and joyfulness that carries with him. One who rolls with the punches life gives him." - Hunter P., Childhood friend and co-worker of Jason

-Together We Can Move Mountains-

A young man with health and happiness on his side certainly could not envision how his life would drastically change after returning home. A week prior to his departure date to the U.S., Jason had facial swelling he believed to be due to a sinus infection. While on the plane back to Texas, the swelling got much worse. Before even stepping foot into his house in Dallas, Jason was having surgery. He was diagnosed with Peripheral T-cell Lymphoma Stage 4 almost hours after being back in the States. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy and being monitored for bone marrow transplant at the Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Doctors have given Jason a 35% chance of success, however, given that he is young and otherwise healthy we are praying for a full recovery. Today we are asking for your donations to help relieve some of the financial burden for his family.

Your support will certainly NOT go unappreciated and together we can help Jason move his mountain and reach new heights! Please help us help him maintain the strength to keep fighting. We believe the world needs more men like Jason and we are determined to see him thrive. Today, tomorrow, and forever we salute you, Jason McDaniel, for your hard work with the Armed Forces Recreational Center in Germany and your commitment to your health!

-Current Update October 2014-
Jason is still in the hospital and should be returning home on October 9th, 2014. His complications from surgery have not been uncommon and he can begin his recovery. If no other complications arise, Jason will have his scheduled PET scan 3 months, 6 months, etc. following his surgery date. Please continue to show your support by spreading the word of Jason McDaniel as he begins the next chapter in the battle against cancer.

From the depths of our heart and soul, we thank you for your donation to our beloved friend and co-worker.

Please help us help Jason overcome his battle with lymphoma!

Thank you,
