Wounded Warriors Softball Vs. WNSA

WNSA is fundraising for a big event to occur on May 16, 2015 when the Wounded Warriors Amputee Softball team is coming to our area to play a WNSA sponsored double header at Patriots Park in Allentown, PA.

To make this big event happen, we need to fundraise, and your help is not only requested but would be deeply appreciated.

Donations will go first towards the Wounded Warriors hotel, travel, meals, minor league stadium fees and staffing. A portion of the donations will go to the Wounded Warriors fund which raises money to raise awareness and educate the public about the serious injuries suffered by our men and women in uniform and their subsequent rehabilitation that allows them to function like any other American. Donations allow these players to have the equipment, training and support they need to not only play a sport they love, but serve as an inspiration to all who face adversity. Your generosity will also help to fund training and education for wounded warrior amputees as they continue to pursue their goals in academics as well as competitive athletic pursuits.

The other portion goes to the WNSA which strives to create funding for a Professional Women's Fastpitch Softball League which will be coming in 2016. This League will sport an exciting new look and has plans to start accepting teams from the tri-state area.  The Northeast will be the location for the first Division of teams.
