Hi Everyone.
I have started this page for Military Veterans who are willing to give everything just to go on a humanitarian mission to stop Oppression in the Middle East. We plan on Supporting the mission defending the Assyrian Christians in the Nineveh region against extremist rule. My military brothers in arms want the public's help and support in stopping this plague from sweeping country to country. The longer we wait the more genocide will progress. We can make a difference!
-Donations are for equipment and necessities such as protective gear, clothing, and safe passage including emergency evacuation of our wounded operators. We need your support to start this Combat Veteran Volunteer Operation.
-We will create videos and post pictures of our operation. With your help we can do this!
-Veterans against Oppression would like to contribute our support towards groups such as Dweskh Nawsha and Sons of Liberty International who are the backbone contributers for the support and defense of Christians in the Nineveh region and all around Iraq. -Who are these Assyrian Christians?
Assyrians: Remnants of the people of the ancient Mesopotamia. They are among the first nations who accepted Christianity. They belong to one of the four churches: the Chaldean Uniat, the Syrian Orthodox Church, the Syrian Catholic Church and the Assyrian Church of the East. Due to the ethnic-political conflict in the Middle East, they are better known by these ecclesiastical designation. They constitute the third largest ethnic group in Iraq with their communities in Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Iran, Russia and Armenia. Today they remain stateless and great numbers of them left their homeland and settled in Western Europe, the United States and Australia. Due to the rise of Islam extremism many of them were forced out of their homes to flee or those who refused were killed. This includes Christians who are prisoned and sold into slavery.
-More than 125,000 Christians -- men, women and children -- have been forced from their homes over the last 10 months. At this rate the Christian population will deplete and no longer exist in Iraq!
