Freedom's Promise
A team from VBJI (Virginia Beach Justice Initiative) will be running the September 2015 Rock n' Roll Virginia Beach half-marathon, with the goal of raising support and awareness for VBJI's work with survivors of human trafficking in Hampton Roads.
(Our team: Joy, Patrick, Abbie and Saharay. Not pictured: Alexis)
Virginia Beach Justice Initiative is a faith-based, non-profit organization with a mission of ending human trafficking in the Hampton Roads area. We focus on prevention, awareness, education, advocacy, and most importantly, prayer and facilitating restoration for the survivors of trafficking in Hampton Roads/Coastal Virginia.
Our goal is to raise $10,000. All funds raised will go toward further awareness efforts, educational materals for advocacy training, clothing and hygiene products for survivors, and many other survivor needs.
Please consider taking positive action by donating to this cause.
