Utah Dodgeball
Utah Dodgeball is a really fun little community of people in Salt Lake City that simply like to play dodgeball together. I started it in 2013 just for fun and it's been going strong ever since. It's 100% free to play and there's no schedule or league or tournament... we just get together once-a-week and have fun!

On to the funding request!
I bought a bunch of playground balls when we first started and they are getting old. Yes, old balls. I know. It's okay to laugh.
Over time they tear and die. We've lost a lot of faithful balls. The gripping on almost all of what balls are left is gone. I'm not going to turn it into a sob story, but basically life is more fun when you have fresh balls in great abundance.
If you can't help, that's cool. You're definitely welcome to come play guilt-free! But if you're able to donate, and you agree my balls are getting smooth and saggy, all contributions are super helpful!

1. Can I just give you some cash next time I see you?
Of course. I also am on Venmo (@Jared-Hurst). I actually prefer either of these methods because then there's no percentage-fee taken out. GoFundMe takes about 8%.
2. Can I just go buy a ball and bring it?
I'd rather you let me put that money towards buying in bulk, as well as getting the specific kind of ball I intend to buy (they're high grade and durable and are made of actual unicorn balls).
3. $500 seems like you're trying to scam us, bucko.
Right? Well first of all, I'm going to buy the balls anyway and this is just to help me get some of that money back. Second, they actually ARE expensive because they're top quality. Third, if we actually meet or exceed the goal, it will also go towards helping me pay for the Meetup.com fees which I've been happily paying all along and now they've upped their prices. Last and most importantly, I created this GoFundMe because people have been asking me for a way to help pay for costs. You don't need to feel the least bit of obligation to be one of those people.
