UNITED SIKHS is a U.N. affiliated, international non-profit, non-governmental, humanitarian relief, human development and advocacy organization, aimed at empowering those in need, especially disadvantaged and minority communities across the world.

Now, we are seeking help and support NEPAL.
Nepal fell victim to a powerful and devastating earthquake on April 25th. Since then more than 5,000 people are now known to have died, thousands more injured and left homeless – struggling to survive out in the open. The United Nations has estimated that eight million people in 39 districts have been affected by the 7.8 magnitude earthquake.
The UNITED SIKHS Nepal Relief team consisting of medical team of doctors will arrive on Friday, fully equipped with medical supplies to assist the injured.
We have been informed by locals that some villages in the outskirts have still not been reached, therefore our team will be assessing some of the worst hit areas where no help or aid has been delivered as of yet. The temperatures are unseasonably cold and many thousands of families have lost everything apart from the clothes on their backs.
The Nepal Relief team has set up a medical relief supplies base camp at the DDA, Community Hall, Gujjar Diary, Gautam Nagar, New Delhi, India, and will supply the goods from there.
The Nepal humanitarian aid and relief team will carry out work in these areas where aid is most critically needed.

Medicines- pain killers, crepe bandages, vaccinations, creams for wound healing, antibiotics, plaster of paris bandages, cough syrup, gloves, masks, suture thread rolls, cotton rolls, kidney dishes, antiseptics, betadine solution and ointment, surgical adhesive tape, electrobion powder for dehydration, zinc, diclofenac ointment, metronidazole, gauze, blood pressure apparatus, surgical scissors and blades, syringes, anti-anxiety medications, oral hypoglycemics, anti hypertensives, insulin, anti-epileptics, antacids, anti-emetics, analgesics and much more.
Our team has been informed that hospitals are lacking supplies and capacity to treat all minor and major injuries and have limited functional operating theatres. Patients are staying in makeshift shelters with poor sanitation conditions.
Our work has only just begun. We want to bring back a sense of normality, sustainability and community within Nepal and we ask you for your support in order to provide food, water, medical supplies and clothes to facilitate the relief effort.
