Trey's Fund-Lymphoblastic Leukemia

Trey is a sweet, fun, loving, and energetic 3 year old, who in the blink of an eye has had to begin a fight that no one should have to withstand.

 Almost a month ago, Brad and Brooke Fry took Trey, their youngest son, to the doctor for what they thought would result in antibiotics and some Tylenol.  The news they received was not so gentle.  Trey was found to have a large mass in his chest and was transported directly to the hospital.  He was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, treatments began nearly immediately and his course of treatment will last 3 years. 

The family is in the first stage of treatment, with Chemo happening once a week, but each phase will bring new and unexpected changes, more intensive treatments, and plenty of curveballs.  So far, Trey, who just turned 3 at the beginning of May, is responding well and staying strong and so very brave… and so are his parents and older twin siblings.    

Overall, Trey’s prognosis is positive, but he and his whole family will have to endure the 3 years of treatment, countless trips to and from appointments, and juggling Trey’s medical agenda with his busy 6 year old siblings’ activities and school. 

Brad and Brooke are both teachers and will both need to take unpaid time (possibly for extended periods) and juggle the income changes and loss, as well as the influx of expense that will certainly come along with the entire process. 

They haven’t asked for this assistance in any way, and if you know this family, you already know what good, kind, and caring people Brad and Brooke are and that they deserve more than anything to focus their next 3 years on staying strong for Trey and not have to worry about their finances and mounting expenses. 

So please consider donating some money – a dollar, ten dollars, whatever you’re able.  And if you aren’t able, please send all the positive thoughts, healing energy, and constant prayers that you can!  And please share this with friends and family.
