I am practicing this law of attraction thing and sending our this call for help. I believe that people are loving and generous, even to strangers. If 3500 people could donate $10 each, I would reach my goal. Can you donate $10 or more, or can you share this link on your social media?
My name is Elizabeth, and I am in the process of changing my life for the better. Unfortunately, the downside of losing over 200 pounds is that my body is covered in excess, sagging, baggy skin. My outside does not match my inside, and I would like to change that. The price of the corrective surgeries I need seems daunting, but it has occurred to me that perhaps I could ask for just a little help from a lot of people. I believe in the goodness of people, and I am sendning out a call for help.
I worked for two decades with high-risk youth as a high school English teacher before changing direction and becoming a facilitator for a personal empowerment program. I have dedicated my life to helping others help themselves. I find myself now in a situation where I need help.
Over the course of the last seven years, I have lost over 200 pounds. I am proud of my accomplishment, but I find myself unable to enjoy my body due to the excess skin that plagues me. It is a result of extreme weight loss. I feel very self-conscious and uncomfortable with my body, and I am too embarassed to attempt dating with my body in this shape. The extra skin not only looks terrible, it also causes rashes and infections. I am uncomfortable most of the time and have difficulty finding clothing that fits properly. I am plagued by this problem and hoping to find a solution by reaching out for help.
I have consulted with a plastic surgeon and found that the total cost for the procedures I need will be $35,000. There are three main procedures I need - a full body lift, and arm life, and augmentation. I may be able to have the procedures all at once or one at a time. They will cost $20,000, $10,000 an $5,000, respectively. My insurance plan does not cover the surgery. Please help me if you can - I will take the positive energy this will give me and pay it forward, using my newfound confidence to continue making the world a better place, healing one heart at a time.
