BOOKS FOR KIDS

This is a campaign to raise funds to purchase "The Oreo Cat: THINK PAW-sitive" book for elementary schools. Reading together with your kids is a powerful motivational tool. Keep kids involved by asking questions, and creating activities related to the stories you read together. A chart or graph marking the number of books read will help give kids a sense of accomplishment! Reading doesn't have to stop when you put the book down! Talk to your kids about books you've read and books you think they might enjoy! Helping to make reading fun will help your kids to want to read even more! The Oreo Cat wants to encourage reading as well as help educate kids about why cats need their claws! Please help us in our ongoing mission! This is GREAT way to help get the word out about the negative effects of declawing! "THINK PAW-sitive" was published in collaboration with Paw Project - Utah and is filled with jokes, poems, stories and short educational lessons all about cats! This book will help teach kids about responsible pet ownership as well as help educate kids and parents alike about the negative effects of feline declawing. This book contains a section dedicated to The Paw Project and offers alternatives to declawing as well as information on the procedure itself.
