Out queer activists, students and rappers, Jayy Lee (25) and JFP (37) are taking to the American hwys this summer in the name of friendship, music, and adventure!! They are on a pilgrimage to the last Michigan Women’s Music Festival and they’ll be rockin mics in Vegas, Salt Lake City, Denver, Chicago, Vermont, New York and Asheville, NC before heading back to Cali!! It will be a 3-week adventure fueled by the power of friendship!
Jayy Lee & JFP are striving for accessibility, authentic connection and the simple, perfect joy of sharing music with others. They believe they can accomplish this dream without the music industry machine behind them. Instead they are reaching out to old friends and new friends along the way to make it from city to city. En route they’ll be rocking mics at skate parks, gay bars, parking lots, your house party and any other welcoming queer space!
So how you can you be a part of The Friendship Tour?
This traumatic two’oh made an album!! You can get 9 new songs and 2 new friends for $5 bucks! Check out below for more details. Any donation will receive a hard or digital copy of the album.
