Dancers' Shelter from the Storm

Donation protected
If you've attended local festivals such as Springfest in Fayetteville or International Fest in Rogers, chances are you've seen TerraNova Tribal dancing; a lovely addition to our region's celebrations. We've danced in freezing rain, 105 degree heat and in 24 degree cold.

We do it because we love our community and we love our dance.

All of those performances were for community festivals that we've been dancing at for years and hope to continue dancing at for many more!

Between sets this weekend, huddled under blankets in the center of our tent to avoid the rain, we decided it was time to ask for help.

We are going to build a vardo (Romani or 'gypsy' wagon) because it is good shelter and portable (we've already ruined one tent and our new one doesn't do anything against the wind!). We are excited to do all the work but the trailer, lumber, roofing, etc. will cost over $3,000. Yikes! Anything you can share to help is so, so, so appreciated!!!

If we raise more money than we need, we promise to give 100% of the extra to charities that work with Roma communities. Roma are some of the most impoverished, discriminated against people in Europe and we vow to keep info in the wagon about their plight to share with the public.

Thank you very much!
