In February of 2008, at the age of 21, Samantha Twining was in a car accident that left her paralyzed from the waist down. From the beginning, she was diagnosed as a Complete T-9 Paraplegic, which gave her little to no hope of ever walking again. But, because of the intense training that she has done in the past few years, Samantha is making progress every day and has noticed tremendous changes in her body.
To give Samantha a shot at continuing her road to recovery, this page was created to raise funds so that she can attend one of the best Spinal Cord Rehab facilities in the world, Project Walk in San Deigo, California.

I've noticed a tremendous change in my body and I'm happy to say that my nerves are regenerating in places I was told they never would. My body is an investment, it's the only one I've got. I'm training hard and saving what I can to get there but it's going to take a very long time. I have accepted my paralysis but I do not feel like I should be giving up just yet.
