In life, we have individuals that truly make a difference in the person we become. Paula Spruiell is one of those people. Paula, her family, and her dad, Billy Bob Evans, have given so much to all of us.
As our volleyball coach, basketball coach, baseball coach, teacher and pastor, Coach Evans and his family have given countless hours to practices, driving to games in far away places, teaching, and mentoring. This took precious time and sacrifice from not only him, but his family. This Go Fund Me account is being set up in honor of Paula Spruiell, who is not only Coach Evans' daughter, but our friend. She is now battling Melanoma.
We all know that cancer is a long road that brings many challenges, but we also know that it brings people together in wonderful ways, too! This is our opportunity to come together and support Paula financially through this journey.
Why did I choose $25,000 as our goal? It was on the volleyball court that I fell in love with Paula's kindness, warm smile, and fight to win! Since it takes 25 points to win a volleyball match, it seems only fitting that we make $25,000 our goal! Just as Paula was a champion on the court, she will be a champion in her battle with cancer!
