Truth Love Compassion Building Fund

Hi my name is Pastor Tony Tyson of True Love Christian Center (TLC). My wife Marzella Tyson, Co-Pastor,and I have served in ministry together for more than 20 years. In 2009 we were called out by the Holy Spirit to plant the passion of our hearts called the True Love Christian Center (TLC) Ministry. The ministryis dedicated to serving those in need of spiritual healing and restoration. The TLC Mission Call was to seethe Love of Christ heal, the Truth of God revealed, and the Compassion of the Holy Spirit build hurting men, women, and children into whole individuals. Over the years TLC has served as a mobile ministry and ministered to homeless families in Dallas at the Interfaith Housing Coalition, counseled and married young couples through the “Power of One” registered with the State of Texas, created and produced MALAKUT , a young group of music and writing artists with “mini” studios who encouraged and built other artists. In addition, MIA /YMIA (Men in Action and Young Men in Action) and JEWELS/GEMS (Women and Girls) were both formed to mentor and provide activities that supported healthy decision-making, leadership, and life skills. TLC also created a youth dance team to encourage the art of worship, self-expression, and gratitude that would easily perform in community and outreach events. Over the years, the ministry was used by God to reach hundreds of lives with the message of salvation. We baptized them in a small pool with the help of a small group of Christian supporters from a local Presbyterian Church. The ministry has married more couples for the kingdom than larger ministries. Testimonies of God’s restoration and His love came pouring from those who were broken and scarred from physical and emotional abuse, rape, bullying, rejection, fear, and low self-esteem. God began to use TLC to minister to youth and young adults who had been involved in gang related activity, prison, prostitution, foster care , alcohol and drug use. Until now, TLC has been mobile and we currently located in a temporary space at EVENT 1013. Our group of young, faithful, and gifted followers of Jesus Christ is committed to doing more to reach other youth and young adults for His Kingdom. The Holy Spirit impressed upon our hearts in January to begin a TLC Building Campaign to raise $10,000 to put towards a down payment on a building to house the TLC ministry. The building would be used to reach thousands of lives who need the Ministry’s help. We need the building to house Summer Camps with a food program, Studio and Production, Music and Dance, After school, Mentoring activities for youth and especially those without fathers.

Many of you already know us and are committed supporters of TLC’s mission. We are asking everyone asyour heart speaks to you, to hear the TLC Mission call, and help us reach our goal of purchasing a Building that can house the TLC ministry by the end of 2015.
