Sweet 16 in Liberia

Dear Friends and Family,
In 2014 I went to a Christ In Youth (CIY) conference with my church youth group. Lots of awesome things happened there and my faith was taken to a depth I never imagined. Since then, I have been learning and growing in my relationship with God. When I returned home from that CIY conference, I had an idea that for my 16th birthday. I wanted to raise money for a family in Africa and build them a home. God answered my prayers for that in a different way. I have been called to go to Liberia Africa this summer with 35 other people from my church through a mission called Hope2Liberia (www.hope2liberia.org).
We are in the midst of building a school, and we will continue with that while there. Also, we provide safe drinking water that reaches over 1000 people in surrounding areas! I will be spending time spreading love to the children, and doing whatever else God calls me to do through this mission. Ironically, I will be there for my 16th birthday!
I need two things. First, I need prayers for both myself and for the group. Second, I need financial support. It costs $3500 for me to go! While I am doing everything I can to raise money to go, I am also asking for you to help send me. If 100 people contribute $35, I will have what I need!
I was told there are two kinds of people: there are goers and there are senders. I am priviledged to be called a goer, but I do need senders to help get me there. I cannot do this without you!
One last thing, my mom, Jamie, is working to collect 500 bras that I get to help deliver to women of Liberia! If you would like to contribute, please send any new or gently used nursing bra, sports bra, or cotton bra to Harvest Christian Fellowship c/o Jamie Reese "Her Favor" to 1010 E. Centennial Ave. Muncie, IN 47303. I would greatly appreciate it!
