Suzi Brake Santiago Memorial Fund

Suzi was the kindest person you could ever meet. Her laugh was so contagious and she was always there when you needed a compassionate ear to listen. Her son and I met in elementary school and have been friends ever since. Suzi and my mother were also best friends because of the friendship Gabe and I shared. Over the years we have become our own little family unit. They say you can't pick your family, but sometimes you can, you just have to listen to your heart. Her passing was so sudden and a complete shock to everyone. She had some health problems earlier this year but was doing much better. She went in to have some tests done, the next thing you know her heart stopped. Suzi leaves behind her family, friends, coworkers, beloved dog Foo and most importantly her son Gabriel. Gabriel has been living with his mom his entire life, he is only 21. After her passing it is up to him to take on all the responsibility. The funeral, house, bills, everything.  Anything you could spare to help for the funeral, and covering medical bills would be a blessing.
