Help us Empower Girls to Develop/Maintain Healthy Friendships!
A Friendship VALUED is a Friendship WORTHWHILE
Friendship is one of the most important support systems we have in life, so we must value and nurture our friendships in order for them to reach their full potential! My team has been compelled to empower countless young ladies to develop and maintain healthy, long-lasting friendships, so we recently launched the "My Friendship Values" initiative! Through this initiative we facilitate interactive workshops with young ladies ages 11-23 that help them explore 7 values that we have determined to be essential to the success of any friendship, and add values that are personally important to them in their friendships. We also have a social media component where we have started a movement of girls and women of all ages posting photos with their bestfriends telling us what's most important to them in a friendship using #MyFriendshipValues (Currently on Instagram only).

Within our first two months of facilitating the MFV workshop, we reached almost 200 girls! The workshop has gotten such overwhelming interest and demand, that we have decided to expand the initiative and take the steps towards becoming an official nonprofit 501c3 organization! So your donations will be used for all costs associated with the current workshop (such as refreshments, learning materials, and keepsake giveaways) as well as our progams, services, and events that we are working hard to make possible in order to achieve our mission!
After our very first workshop I posted a short clip on Instagram, and within 24 hours it received over 30,000 views! We took this as a sign that as a society we understand how pertinent of a time it is for us to support our youth, and encourage them to love, support, and uplift one another in the midst of mindless bullying and senseless fighting. It is especially important for us to help our girls to lift one another up rather than tear each other down, and to compliment one another's strengths and beauty in the midst of unhealthy competition and standards of beauty driven by our media. It is our responsibility to restore their sense of self-worth, and to teach them to pass the gift on to others.
